01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
About this place
In Tsukiji, a district known for its seafood, Bon Marche draws out the character of its ingredients with a light Italian touch. Alongside fresh seafood, the kitchen uses pesticide-free vegetables and Saga beef delivered from its place of origin, taking care to let each ingredient speak for itself.
A varied lunch menu
The signature Pasta Lunch is a generous set featuring a choice of appetiser platter, a daily freshly made pasta dish, unlimited house-made focaccia, dessert and a drink after the meal. Other choices with a distinctly Tsukiji feel include a Tuna Steak Lunch, which serves fresh tuna as both an appetiser and a main, and Seafood Italian Chirashi Sushi: vinegared rice flavoured with tomato vinegar and topped with botan shrimp, bluefin tuna, salmon roe and sea urchin. For a substantial meat dish, there is also a lunch set with Saga beef round steak.
Dinner courses and wine
Dinner options include the Seasonal Course, built around seasonal ingredients sourced from across Japan, as well as a chef’s choice course and a more indulgent menu for comparing bluefin tuna with Saga beef. The à la carte selection has its own highlights: spaghetti with a rich fresh sea urchin cream sauce, aquapazza that draws out the flavour of seasonal fish, and Saga beef wrapped around fresh sea urchin and briefly seared. The drinks list includes a wide range of organic wines, Champagne and sparkling wines, making it easy to choose a pairing for the meal.
A relaxed setting, from counter seats to private rooms
On the 2 floor of the Tsukiji KY Building, the restaurant offers a calm place to unwind away from the bustle of the market. There are counter seats for a casual meal as well as private rooms, with seating to suit anything from a small gathering to a special occasion. Reservations are available for both lunch and dinner, so booking ahead can help secure a seat to suit your plans.
